As a Medical Scientific Liaison you will lead scientific engagement with Medical Experts and implement clinical and educational strategies and respond to unsolicited medical enquiries.

Your Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Engage with Medical Experts (MEs) to educate on medical/scientific information; Ensure appropriate identification/mapping of MEs/ Key Accounts including identification of opportunities to involve MEs when a specific medical need is identified to provide support
- Develop and execute ME engagement plans to effectively prioritize and strategically engage MEs aligned with country strategy. Respond to unsolicited requests for information from MEs
- Inform and shape medical strategy by collecting impactful insights from MEs. Support Novartis clinical research programs optimize trial execution and provide scientific educational support to potential and actual study sites in collaboration with clinical operations.
- Facilitate Investigator Initiated Trial (IIT) process upon investigator request. Serve as a medical resource to field matrix colleagues
- Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt. Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable)
- Be a strategic internal partner by gathering and leveraging insights for an impactful contribution to Patient Journey mapping launch excellence roadmap integrated evidence generation plans integrated product strategy and subsequently the medical strategy with particular focus on biosimilars.
- Support and contribute to innovative partnership models for shared ownership in transforming clinical practice. Support analysis of the competitive landscape and identify data gaps data generation opportunities (including RWE and implementation science precision medicine) and key unmet needs and opportunities to help improve patient access and outcomes and be able to provide a sound strategic plan to help tap the opportunities.
- Adopt and leverage digital channels for a broader effective personalized reach and impact in addition to leading high level impactful scientific events exchanges and medical education. May be assigned to support projects initiated by the department and other relevant cross-functional group from time to time.
Minimum requirements
- Bachelors degree in Life Sciences (e.g. Pharmacy Medical Technology Nursing etc.)
- Operations Management and Execution; Collaborating across boundaries; English Clinical Research Phases; Medical Science and Disease Area Knowledge; Medical Education and Scientific Engagement; Third-Party Sponsored Trials; Medical Governance
- Excellent interpersonal communications and influencing skills; Excellent negotiation ability;
- Independent and innovative orientation; Strong analytical skills; Strong understanding of the healthcare environment
- Able to understand changing dynamics of Pharmaceutical industry
- Proficient and fluent in English (spoken and written) with good interpersonal and communication skills.
