As an Application Engineer at Yokogawa youll build and maintain the systems that is the digital foundation of some of the worlds most essential industries ensuring that safety stability and sustainability go hand in hand.

Youll be part of the Solution Engineering Team within the Operations NL Team a diverse group of specialists with complementary skillsets and a shared mindset.

You will be the responsible person for installing and maintaining our data historian and the products that rely on this data historian. You will also be the responsible person for our custom made applications.

As Application Engineer you will not only support above mentioned solutions you will also be trained in one of our main products like DCS Safety or SCADA.

What Youll Be Doing

As an Application Engineer youll:

• Install and maintain our data historian and its Advanced Solutions.
• Maintain and support our custom made applications based on VB C# or the like.
• Implement modifications to customers systems in a live environment.
• Maintain the customer systems to be reliable and ready 24/7. This also includes handling assigned emergency calls.
• Coordinate and verify work prepared by our engineering centres in Romania and India
• Support your customer with technical questions or upgrades.
• Creating and maintaining as-built documentation that ensures clarity and continuity.

What Youll Need to Succeed

Youre someone who thrives at the intersection of technology and responsibility. You understand the demands of industrial environments and bring a reliable-by-design mindset to everything you do.

You bring:

• An MBO / HBO degree in process automation/control mechatronics or equivalent
• A communicative personality enjoys working in a team of technical experts
• A willingness to travel within the Netherlands frequently and from to time to time abroad
• (Basic) programming skills like JAVA VB or C#
• self-motivated in solving problems and searching for new knowledge
• A structured hands-on approach to problem solving.
• Strong communication skills in either Dutch or English.
• A solution-focused flexible attitude and customer-centric mindset.
