KITE Search is currently looking for a Workplace Fit-out Project Manager with workplace / corporate experience to join a famous leading HK organisation. This role will see you oversee the contractors and consultants and deliver exciting new projects on time and budget.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver a high quality well-designed and productive workplace for staff based in HK.
- Engage with end-users analyse space and seat requirements and provide space plans block and stacking plans layouts scenario options and recommendations to management.
- Work with designers and contractors to plan design and implement new offices and facilities.
- Prepare project scope and scope of services to appoint contractors to implement the project.
- Be responsible to manage contractors and guide the implementation and delivery of projects; ensure that quality standards are achieved while costs remain under budget and critical deadlines are met.
- Work with procurement department in preparing sourcing of bids tender documentation tender calling & evaluation adjudication and award of project.
- Conduct regular site inspections to track progress and ensure that works are carried out properly and according to design intents.
- Review invoices against actual work performed and make recommendation on the payment certification to Consultants and Contractors upon successful completion of works.
- Oversee project handover before and after including organising joint inspection with Users FM and MA together with the Consultants and Contractors.
- Plan and implement strategies and initiatives that efficiently use the organizations real estate assets andhelp to future-proof the workplace.
- Responsible to maintain utilisation and occupancy data of corporate portfolio within the software system of record; manage spacewalksto validate and provide regular occupancy metrics to management.
- Participate in the workplace planning and implementation for a new campus project and other developments.
- Liaise with building FM or MA on operational and safety requirements or submissions to ensure it is properly disseminated to Consultants and Contractors.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree and at least 3 years of Project Management experience in managing the execution and delivery of office fit-out projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD database and presentation software (e.g. MS Excel & PowerPoint) is required.
- Experience in corporate workplace design and implementation/ delivery of corporate workplace environments is required.
- Experience with restacks and minor works
- Good communication and management style
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and to quality.
