Supported Housing Concierge
North Shields
Permanent Full Time (37.5 hpw)
Earn 12.60 per hour (Salary 24638 p.a.)

Youll play a vital part in supporting our customers some of whom have complex care needs ensuring their safety and creating a welcoming community. So if youre someone who prefers staying awake while the rest of the world sleeps this is the job for you.
Typical shift as a Housing Concierge
If you want a quiet and calm night security job then this is not the job for you! There is so much more than monitoring CCTV or patrolling the premises.
- First line of support when the wider team or networks arent available
- Ensure building safety through patrols fire door locks and security checks.
- Think on your feet to handle incidents from suspicious activity to emergencies.
- Pitch in with cleaning and tidying when needed.

You bring
- Calm under pressure with strong communication skills.
- Passionate about supporting vulnerable people (public service experience a bonus).
- Sociable observant and quick to spot changes in behaviour.
- Confident stepping in before issues escalate handling situations sensitively.
- A team player whos also comfortable working alone backed by our out of hours team.
We cant sponsor you due to certificate limits. We review this regularly.
Job details
- 4 on / 4 off rolling rota 8pm to 8am
- Regular day time training and team meetings
- Confident using technology for CCTV records and customer support
- Youll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
