Job Description
Position: Investment Analyst
Location: Bethlehem PA
General Position Summary:
Provide internal servicing and performance reporting for institutional and high net worth private clients while providing client service within the organization and for clients directly.
Essential Functions/Major Duties:
- Will involve working with multiple brokerage recordkeeping and trust investment platforms.
- Assimilate key data from investment statements and import data into performance reporting system.
- Perform quarterly return calculations of raw data received from custodians.
- Prepare quarterly and periodic reporting on an as-needed basis.
- Be a technical resource for our Advisor workforce as needed.
- Create the Monthly Flash Reports thereby providing manager and aggregate portfolio performance figures relative to a particular benchmark utilized by key clients immediately upon month closing.
- Complete various client specific reports as required.
- Work with producers to prepare portfolio design and monitoring for clients including but not limited to private wealth institutional defined benefit and defined contribution plans.
- Utilize modeling software to determine appropriate asset allocations using forward looking capital market assumptions.
Education and Experience:
- BS in Business or related field
- Series 7 63 and 65 licenses (or 66) are a big plus. If not held must be obtainable within 5 months of hire.
-Advanced designation or progression towards within 2 years MBA CFA
- MS Windows and Office as well as internet proficiency
- Familiarity with financial software
- Raw Data Analysis
- Comfortable working with Trust and Brokerage accounts
