Job Description
METER Group is seeking a Facilities Technician to join our team in Pullman WA. The ideal candidate will be efficient organized and have basic computer skills. The Facilities Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment machinery landscaping and building systems to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
This role works from our Pullman WA office.
For informational purposes the entire pay range for this role is $20.56 -$26.05. We are open to reviewing candidates with more or less experience. Our offer will be based on job-related factors such as candidate experience training knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
- Legal right to work in the U.S.
- Valid drivers license required.
- Efficient and organized.
- Basic computer skills.
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to recognize tasks as they come up and set and/or change priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
Essential Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand walk and move throughout the building for extended periods of time.
- Ability to bend kneel crouch climb ladders and work in tight spaces.
- Ability to lift carry push and pull materials tools and equipment (up to 50 lbs. unassisted).
- Good hand-eye coordination and ability to handle tools and equipment safely.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to tolerate exposure to dust cleaning chemicals mechanical noise and occasional confined spaces.
- Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations (fire alarms equipment failures safety incidents).
- Ability to use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Responsibilities:
- Clean office areas kitchenettes bathrooms meeting rooms common areas and other spaces throughout the building.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as HVAC system checks plumbing repairs and electrical work.
- Respond to facility maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
- Assist with building security and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for larger maintenance projects.

Full-Time Employee Benefits at METER Group:
