Job Summary
S-Lab for Advanced Intelligence established in 2020 is a university laboratory at NTU focusing on research and development of cutting-edge AI technologies in computer vision natural language processing reinforcement learning deep learning and distributed computing. We aim to create impactful applications spanning various strategic areas in partnership with academic industry and government organizations.
As the Senior Assistant Manager Business Operations Management the job holder will play a critical role in coordinating and administering all aspects of the centres operations including human resources financial operations utilisation of funding and lab administration. Reporting to the Associate Director you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient allocation of resources compliance with regulations and support for research activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and strategise grant management and utilisation. Track grant spending milestones and reporting deadlines.
Be involved and oversee labs budget and expense management. Managing budget allocation which includes monitoring budget review and reporting for S-Labs external funded and cost.
Work closely with PIs and HR department in coordinating all HR activities.
Responsible in generating insightful reports to Management and PI on overall S-Lab performance which includes grant utilisation staffing expenses procurement and facilities.
Ensure compliance with Grantor and NTU policies and regulations.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree from any discipline preferably degree in human resources finance business administration or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and understanding of HR and finance management is a plus.
Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
