Job Description
THE ROLE
Kick-start your project management career with Downers Northern Region Water Team based in our Albany office. Join a team delivering essential water infrastructure projects that make a real difference in local communities.
You will manage the technical delivery of projects from start to finishcovering estimation resource planning contractor coordination and client reporting ensuring that every detail meets Downers high standards for safety quality and performance. Collaborating with engineering and construction teams across regions you will help bring impactful and sustainable projects to life.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing project delivery to meet scope time and budget requirements using Downers project management framework.
- Managing suppliers subcontractors and construction teams across various worksites.
- Offering technical input and support from engineering documentation through to commissioning.
- Ensuring that zero harm and quality standards are integrated throughout all project stages.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships while reporting project progress.
ABOUT YOU
Youre proactive collaborative and ready to grow. With a foundation in construction or engineering and a passion for infrastructure youre keen to learn and deliver with impact.
Strong interest in project delivery within water or infrastructure sectors
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Confident communicator who works well with diverse teams and stakeholders
Eager to learn take initiative and grow within a supportive team environment
Tertiary qualification in construction engineering or related discipline (preferred)
