Job Description Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Value Stream Manager to lead the daily operations and strategic planning of a high-performance pharmaceutical diagnostics value stream. This role is accountable for coordinating shift activities driving cross-functional alignment and ensuring the seamless execution of production plans while maintaining compliance safety and quality standards.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end operations of the value stream ensuring daily targets for safety quality delivery cost and training are met.
- Coordinate shift activities across multiple teams ensuring effective handovers and continuity of operations.
- Lead daily tiered accountability meetings and ensure timely escalation and resolution of issues.
- Collaborate with Quality Engineering Maintenance and Supply Chain to remove bottlenecks and optimize flow.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance throughput reduce waste and improve OEE.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including yield cycle time downtimetraining compliance and5S audit scores.
- Foster a culture grounded instandard workand5S principles ensuring visual management workplace organization and process discipline are embedded in daily routines.
- Ensure compliance with GMP FDA HPRA and internal quality standards across all operations.
- Support the onboarding and development of team members fostering a culture of accountability engagement and continuous learning.
- Lead future capacity planning and resource alignment to meet evolving business needs.
- Partner with scheduling and planning teams to ensure alignment of production plans with material availability and staffing.
- Champion a safety-first culture and ensure adherence to all EHS protocols and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Life Sciences Operations Management Engineering or related field.
- Solid experience in manufacturing operations preferably in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical or diagnostics environment.
- Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced production setting.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma5S and continuous improvement tools.
- Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and production planning tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complexity prioritize effectively and drive results.
