Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Communications Assistant to join our dynamic this role you will play a crucial part in supporting our communications department by assisting with a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing our organizational messaging and outreach strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation and editing of content for various communication platforms
- Support the social media management efforts including scheduling and monitoring posts
- Help organize and coordinate internal and external events
- Conduct research to enhance communication strategies and outreach efforts
- Maintain databases and tracking systems related to communication activities
- Prepare reports on communication metrics and campaign performance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications Marketing or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in social media platforms and content management tools
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Basic knowledge of design software (e.g. Canva Adobe) is a plus
