Position Available: Paralegal - Special Projects Legal Aid of Western Ohio Inc. (LAWO) a non-profit law firm that provides high-quality legal assistance to eligible low-income individuals and groups in western Ohio seeks a resourceful and hardworking paralegal. This position will be located in the Dayton office. This paralegal position will focus on providing support to attorneys in the representation of Veterans; This position will also involve significant outreach efforts with community-based partners. Other areas of practice may be assigned as needed. Commitment to legal services for people with low incomes and strong legal research and writing skills required. Applicant should have excellent organizational interpersonal and communication skills be computer proficient and work well in a team environment. Paralegal experience preferred including experience working on housing law and related case areas. Fluency in Spanish preferred but not required. Remote work is likely; however some travel and in-person work are required. Competitive salary based on relevant experience and comprehensive fringe benefits provided.
