Job Description

Position Description:

We are seeking a SharePoint Developer who will function as both a team and technical lead.
As a Senior SharePoint Developer you will be responsible for designing developing implementing and maintaining applications. As part of the team you will oversee task progress and provide technical and soft skill coaching as needed. You will interact directly with solution owners solution architects and other stakeholders to gather requirements for change or service requests delivering high-quality results. Your leadership will involve participating in business development championing innovation and continuously seeking improvement.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Follow best practices in the delivery of all application activities such as responding to incidents change requests and environmental changes.
Ensure application availability for users and provide production support when required.
Work closely with application owners to gather requirements and deliver results.
Provide accurate estimates test and deploy solutions across all environments.
Develop and maintain system documentation.
Adhere to the European time zone and calendar including public holidays.
Comfortably communicate with onshore clients to gather requirements.
Lead the teams innovation journey.
Ensure high-quality standards are met and maintained.
Identify areas for improvement and propose training including technical and soft skills development.



Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

7 years of development experience on the Platform encompassing both application development and maintenance.
Experience with 3.5 Framework.
Client-Side customization experience: JavaScript Object Model (JSOM) SharePoint REST Service SharePoint Client-side Rendering (CSR) Custom Workflows using SharePoint Designer (2010 and 2013 platforms) HTML Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) jQuery and vanilla JavaScript. Experience with Bootstrap and AngularJS is a plus.
SharePoint 2016/2019 server-side customizations: Custom Web Parts SharePoint Object Model (SOM) Custom list definitions and instances. At least familiarity with SQL (querying stored procedures tables etc.).
2 years of experience implementing Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) strategies.
SharePoint setup and administration.
SharePoint Online experience is a plus.
Azure experience is a plus.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies particularly as they relate to the promotion and deployment of routine fixes and major releases into a production environment.
ITIL Foundation certification is a plus.
Excellent oral written and effective communication skills. Comfortable with direct client interaction.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and articulate issues approaches and solutions.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple issues/fixes concurrently.
Experience working in a mature process-oriented structured environment that includes change management incident ticketing and disaster recovery preparedness.
Knowledge of Miro or Visio for creating diagrams.
Experience in customizing SharePoint site or hub navigation and applying styling and theming.
Experience publishing and consuming web services or APIs using XML and/or JSON.
Experience with application lifecycle management using tools such as Visual Studio Visual Studio Code Azure DevOps SQL Management Studio and GitHub.
Excellent team player - Possesses strong interpersonal skills and communicates effectively and respectfully with all team members. Actively listens to different perspectives contributes constructively to discussions and values diverse opinions.
