We are seeking a skilled and motivated Foreman and Diesel Mechanic to maintain repair and service a fleet of commercial trucks ensuring the safety and reliability of vehicles and delivering outstanding service to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose repair and maintain diesel engines and heavy-duty truck systems including electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Repair and replace parts such as engines brakes steering mechanisms including COF repairs and accident repairs
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues and implement solutions
  • Collaborate with service advisors and team members to deliver timely and efficient service

Skills sought

  • Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic preferably within a dealership or similar environment and experience working on late model trucks
  • Certification as a Diesel Mechanic or equivalent technical training
  • Sound technical skills strong attention to detail problem-solving skills and mechanical and fault-finding ability
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and technology
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair and maintenance as well as truck systems (brakes hydraulics electrical etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-demand service-driven environment
