Looking for your next step in a well-supported dairy business This 174ha effective System 3 farm in the Bay of Plenty might just be the opportunity youve been waiting for.
Milking 490 cows through a 32-aside herringbone shed with in-shed feeding the farm consistently produces 200000 KgMS and is part of a larger family-owned operation comprising of four dairy farms. The owners are deeply committed to sustainability animal welfare and creating a positive work environmentand theyre looking for the right Farm Manager to join them on that journey.
About the role:
Youll be leading a capable team of two full-time staff and responsible for the day-to-day operations of the farm. Success in this role will come from strong pasture and animal management sound decision-making and the ability to motivate and guide others. This is a great opportunity for someone who has established leadership skills to take ownership of the farming operation on Hi View Farm.
Were looking for someone who:
- Has at least 3 years of experience in a dairy management role
- Demonstrates excellent animal health and pasture management skills
- Leads with integrity confidence and clear communication
- Thrives on achieving operational and production results
- Is hard-working honest and enjoys working as part of a team
