Experience / Qualification
Bachelors degree in International Trade International Business or similar
Experience in Foreign Trade customs or similar
2-4 years of experience
Customs Legislations and General rules interpretation and knowledge
Customs Inventory Control system annex 24 proficiency (Coesap Zoe Millenium etc)
Import / export processes knowledge
Microsoft office proficient
Advanced English Level
Responsibilities
- Audit support - Assist in external or internal audits whether conducted by internal or internal consultants or diverse authorities
- Customs Inventory Control system annex 24 audit Responsible of auditing customs operations data integrity materials balances
- Tariff preference application Ensure the correct preference application to exempt taxes according to our IMMEX program for pedimentos closure
- Non-tariff restrictions knowledge and application (permits authorizations)
- Monitors raw material demand to request import authorization on time such a Rule 8th
- Customs Inventory Control system annex 24 maintenance
- BOM structure interpretation
- Country of origin determination and product qualification for preferential duty treatment
- Certificate of origin elaboration and submission depending on the Treaty
- General knowledge in supplychain security certifications such as CTPAT AEO BASC etc.
- IVA/IEPS certification support
- IMMEX program management support
- Fixed Assets control and identification
- Be continuously updated with Mexican laws and regulations
