Red Hat India is seeking a dynamic OpenShift Platform Sales Specialist to accelerate the adoption of Red Hat this role you will collaborate with the assigned segment Sales team to guide customers in shaping implementing and executing their digital transformation strategies.
Your primary focus will be on driving Go-To-Market (GTM) initiatives engaging with critical decision-makers and establishing OpenShift as the preferred hybrid cloud and application modernization platform for enterprises. You will cultivate strategic relationships with C-level executives and business leaders positioning Red Hats cutting-edge solutionsincluding OpenShift Virtualization AI and modern application servicesas key enablers of business innovation and technological evolution.
This role goes beyond salesits about championing cultural and technological change helping enterprises transition to cloud-native agile and scalable IT infrastructures.
What You Will Do:
Collaborate with the India segment Sales team to define and promote the adoption of emerging technologies across key accounts.
Engage with customers to assess their business objectives and technical requirements aligning them with Red Hats solutions.
Orchestrate the entire sales cyclefrom initial qualification to procurementfor Red Hats cloud and emerging technology offerings.
Guide enterprises through their agile and cloud transformation initiatives positioning Red Hats platform as the foundational element for innovation.
Cultivate trusted advisor relationships with senior IT and business leaders to foster enduring partnerships.
Establish Red Hat OpenShift as the platform of choice for strategic customers.
Drive revenue growth by consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets for the assigned segment
Develop and execute Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies to identify new opportunities and expand existing accounts.
Advocate for OpenShift solutions to both technical teams (developers IT administrators) and C-level executives.
Collaborate with Sales Partners and Solution Architects to develop customized customer proposals.
Partner with Marketing & Channels to enhance demand generation and accelerate pipeline development.
Provide market insights to inform Red Hats product strategy and roadmap.
This position is ideally suited for a strategic salesperson who excels in a customer-centric technology-driven environment.
What youll bring:
5 years of experience within the Kubernetes ecosystem including competing technologies and established relationships with Cloud Service Providers.
Background in consultative customer engagement acquired within a consulting or technology company or organization is essential.
Profound technical knowledge of enterprise middleware virtualization AI/Data Science and container technologies is a prerequisite.
A comprehensive understanding of and practical experience with DevOps agile methodologies and organizational and IT transformation are necessary.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to present to executives at large corporations as well as at events and seminars are mandatory.
A proven capability to sell solutions within a multi-product environment is expected.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with global cross-functional teams and achieve customer success is required.
The capacity to maintain a strategic and tactical skill balance is crucial.
An entrepreneurial mindset is highly valued.
