Job Description:
Position: Production Head
Location: Jhagadia nearby Ankleshwar
Experience: 10 - 15 Years
Industries: Chemical
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end production operations in a chemical manufacturing plant.
- Plan and execute production schedules to meet quality quantity and delivery timelines.
- Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting support for Chlorination Nitration and Hydrogenation
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols SOPs GMP and statutory regulations.
- Monitor process parameters and ensure safe operation of hazardous and exothermic reactions.
- Coordinate with R&D and Process Engineering for scale-up technology transfer and new product implementation.
- Oversee production planning raw material consumption yield improvement and cost optimization.
- Lead cross-functional coordination with QA/QC Maintenance EHS and SCM departments.
- Implement and promote process improvements and operational excellence initiatives (Lean Kaizen Six Sigma).
- Maintain documentation and compliance for audits internal external and regulatory (e.g. ISO EHS GPCB).
- Manage and mentor production teams ensuring continuous skill development and performance enhancement.
- Ensure optimal utilization of equipment such as reactors scrubbers distillation units and hydrogenation vessels.
Required Skills :-
- Strong expertise in Chlorination Nitration & Hydrogenation
- Sound knowledge of process safety HAZOP and risk management.
- Leadership and team management capabilities.
- Analytical thinking and decision-making under pressure.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and production tracking tools.
