The Office of Academic Advising (OAA) provides academic advising support to undergraduate students and faculty advisors through one-on-one meetings classroom visits and group workshops and training. OAA supports academic recovery (probation) students students exploring their major options incoming transfer students and students who have received Daniels Fund awards and Denver Scholarship Foundation awards. OAA supports the DU Academic Advising Model by leading central communications to department chairs more than 300 faculty advisors and more than 15 staff advisors and through quarterly meetings. OAA works closely with the Director of Faculty Advising to support the unique needs of department chairs.
Housed within Academic Affairs the Office of Student Success of which Academic Advising is a part promotes academic excellence engagement and student thriving by empowering students to make the most of their experience at the University of Denver. Academic Affairs collaborates with the schools divisions academic departments the faculty and student life to develop programs curricula and experiences that support inspire and challenge students. Our Student Success work is defined by our mission to advance a university-wide culture of holistic student thriving by developing and promoting best practices in student success and advising; driving data-informed decision-making processes and providing meaningful outreach to students that is both responsive and proactive.
Position Summary
Through daily meetings with students this position works with all undergraduate students to ensure their transition persistence and success at the University.
This position will work primarily on the University of Denvers campus.

Salary Grade Number:
The salary grade for the position is 7.
Hourly Range:
The hourly range for the position is $26.05-$26.40.
