Who We Are Looking For:
Every day Cambias dedicated team of Clerk IIIs are living our mission to make health care easier and lives better. As a member of the Administrative team the Clerk III provides clerical support for departments within Cambia. The Clerk III works closely with department staff as well as staff in other corporate departments.
The duties of the Clerk III are similar in tasks of Clerk II but differ in complexity and depth of experience and knowledge required. The Clerk III will perform senior level clerical work involving the analysis and processing of material and work to completion and handle moderately difficult inquiries.

Qualifications:
The Clerk III would have a High School diploma or equivalent with three years of work-related experience or equivalent combination of formal training and experience.
Skills and Attributes:
Ability to express self clearly through verbal and written communications.
30 wpm keying ability with 95% accuracy; 10-key ability.
Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and be able to multitask.
Ability to operate business machines computers copiers fax etc.
Proven ability of telephone courtesy.
Alpha and numeric filing abilities.
Responsible and dependable general office skills ability to apply basic math skills flexible in duties positive attitude basic operation of standard office equipment such as PC and CRT Microsoft Word and Excel experience helpful.
Ability to work in a team environment and work effectively with all levels of corporate staff.
For claims system must have working knowledge of medical and/or dental terminology
What You Will Do at Cambia:
Handle incoming mail distribution and provide phone coverage support
Schedule meetings reserve conference rooms order equipment services maintain inventory and supplies and coordinate job assignments between departments
Perform PC work process applications and maintain claims history files
Prepare routine correspondence mail contracts and member materials respond to status inquiries and maintain departmental files
Contact members providers and representatives to obtain missing information correct errors and provide customer service support
Collect performance data prepare monthly statistical reports follow up on missing data and complete special projects as assigned
Prepare daily materials for imaging provide backup coverage for imaging department and support claims processing activities
Train new employees on clerical functions work overtime and weekends as needed and provide cross-departmental support
Work Environment:
This position will be on-site from our Medford Burlington or Lewiston offices. Candidates outside of these areas will not be considered for the role.
The expected hiring range for a Clerk III is $17.75 - $18.50/hour depending on skills experience education and training; relevant licensure / certifications; and performance history. The bonus target for this position is 5%. The current full salary range for this role is $17.75 - $26.80/hour.
