  • Provide staff withindividualised short-term coachingto address specific work-related or personal challenges.
  • Offer asafe non-judgmental spacefor reflection personal development and enhanced resilience.
  • Support War Childs strategic goals by improving staffcapacity confidence communication and career clarity.
  • Build a diverse inclusive roster of coaches with a range of modalities languages and cultural competencies.

Duty of Care Staff Wellbeing

Yourscope of work

The consultant will:

1. Coaches in the pool will be contracted on anon-call basis depending on staff needs and availability. Typical engagements may include:
  • 1:1 coachingsession(6090 minutes per session)
  • Short coaching assignments(e.g.36 sessions over several weeks)

2. Support across themes such as:
  • Career planning or transitions (e.g.new role exit promotion)
  • Navigating team dynamics or interpersonal challenges
  • Confidence performance anxiety or impostor syndrome
  • Resilience emotional regulation or burnout recovery

Coaches arenot expected to act astherapists butshould know how to recognize boundaries and refer onward where clinical intervention is moreappropriate.

Deliverables

The consultant will produce:

  • Provide individual sessions ina timely confidential and professional manner.
  • Offer pre-session intake and/or reflection prompts if applicable.
  • Submit abrief anonymized summary of themes(e.g. quarterly) for trend analysis and learning without revealing any personal data.
  • Follow ethical codes of conduct in line with ICF EMCC or equivalent.
Your profile
  • Accredited professional coach (e.g.ICF EMCC or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years experience in coaching counselling facilitation or related practice
  • Experience supporting staff in NGOs humanitarian development or cross-cultural contexts
  • High emotional intelligence active listening and cross-cultural sensitivity
  • Strong boundaries ethics and confidentiality practices
  • Ability to offer remote sessions (Zoom Teams or other platforms.
  • English is must and multilingualis huge asset(ArabicDutch German French Spanish Dari Ukrainian or other languages used by War Child offices)

Desirable:

  • Trauma-informed or safeguarding-sensitive coaching approaches
  • Regional representation from countries where War Child operates


What we offer

Contracting and Fees

  • Coaches will be contracted on a framework agreement or roster basis.
  • Assignments will be agreed upon per session or per engagement (e.g. 3-session coaching journey).
  • Coaches will invoice per session delivered in line with agreed fees.
  • No retainer is guaranteed; engagement depends on need demand and availability.

Interestedcoaches shouldsubmit:

  • A shortprofile or CV or webpage/LinkedIn Profileincluding coaching credentials and areas of expertise
  • Abrief motivation letter(half page or 1 page max) explaining their coaching approach and alignment with War Childs mission
  • A samplerate card(hourly/session-based fees)
