Job Summary:
Riverview Charter School is seeking dedicated and reliable Substitute Teachers to provide classroom instruction in the absence of the regular teacher. The ideal candidate will maintain a positive learning environment follow lesson plans and ensure a smooth transition for students.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow and implement lesson plans left by the absent teacher.
Maintain a structured and positive classroom environment.
Supervise students and ensure their safety and well-being.
Foster an engaging and respectful learning atmosphere.
Manage classroom behavior effectively and enforce school policies.
Provide assistance to students with coursework as needed.
Report on student progress and any issues to school administrators.
Adhere to all school policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelors degree preferred).
Teaching certification or relevant experience preferred.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Ability to adapt to different subjects and grade levels.
Patience reliability and a passion for education.
Work Schedule & Compensation:
On-call/ as needed basis.
Flexible hours depending on school needs.
Compensation based on experience and Riverview Charter School policies.
