The Customer Software Team at Broad Clinical Laboratories is seeking Senior Software Engineer. You will build software to enable clinicians and researchers to order genomic testing for their patients and labs. Broad Clinical Laboratories mission is to make genetic and other biologic testing faster and more affordable. Your work on enhancing our ordering platform will help make these tests more accessible to clinicians and their patients and accelerate scientific discoveries.
Our software stack is a Python web application with a React frontend and Postgres database deployed with GCP cloud infrastructure. Developers on the team are expected to work full-stack consulting with subject matter and technical experts as necessary.
The team is 5 other engineers and a product manager working remotely day-to-day. Coming into the office is mostly reserved for cross-team collaboration or special events.
REQUIRED:
- 5 years experience working on commercial software.
- Proficiency with Python React and SQL.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
PREFERRED
- Experience in clinical or medical research software
