Programme Officer / Assistant Programme Officer ()
The appointee is expected to (a) serve as a key administrator in one of the UGC funded Bachelor Programmes; (b) provide full range administrative support to the Programme including curriculum-related exercises practicum arrangement licensing exam arrangement admission and promotion activities; (c) provide secretariat support to various committees and working groups of the Programme; (d) organise and support student activities as well as school events; (e) provide daily and administrative support to the teaching faculties and technical instructors; (f) handle students enquiries and matters; (g) coordinate and liaise with internal units and external bodies; and (h) perform other duties as assigned.
Applicants should have a bachelors degree with two to three years of relevant work experience in programme administration and/or in the education sector. Good command of English and Chinese including Putonghua and proficiency in computer software applications is required. The ideal candidate should have a problem-solving mindset and the ability to work under pressure. Applicants should be meticulous attentive to details and be able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. Applicants should be a self-starter and a good team player with a keen interest in working with people of different cultural backgrounds.
Candidates with more experience will be considered for the post of Programme Officer.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.
The initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of one year. Re- appointment thereafter is subject to performance review mutual agreement and availability of funding.
