The purpose of the position is to participate in the execution of the annual internal audit plan carried out on-site or remotely. The Senior Auditor will be a key member of the audit team and be active in all phases of the execution of an audit. He or she will also draft audit findings assist in completing the audit report work with the business on the remediation of audit findings and assist in other IC&A activities such as advisory engagements investigations design and implementation of internal controls the performance of duties Global Senior Internal Auditor takes decisions within the established rules and under current legislation either alone or after approval from the Manager. There is freedom of discretion and the opportunity to offer views on the implementation of a specific task.
What Youll Do:
- Responsible for the timely execution of financial operational compliance and internal audits in accordance with the annual audit plan ensuring quality work is performed within budgeted time frames;
- Participate in all phases of the audit including planning execution and reporting
- Identify document and communicate audit findings
- Assist in drafting written audit reports and recommendations
- Conduct timely follow-up of action plans and remediation progress
- Conduction investigations and other special projects as needed
- Participate in audit closing meetings and presentation of audit findings to Management
- Participate in the improvement of the methodology and tools of the Internal Audit & Advisory Department ;
- Maintain all organizational and professional ethical standards;
- Interact with external auditors as applicable.
- Responsible for proper retention of the assigned audit work papers and related / documents;
- Responsible for the proper useand safeguarding of the entrusted tools and resources used to carry out assigned responsibilities.
- Responsible for adherence to deadlines;
- Responsible for the accuracy and the condition of the work product and communication created
- Responsible for adherence to quality standards.
What Youll Bring To BIC:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance
- 4-7 years of experience in Finance with prior audit experience in a Big 4 Accounting Firm preferred;
- CPA CIA CISA or other relevant audit certification strongly preferred
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS standards and Internal Control
- English is mandatory a third language would be an asset;
- Excellent computer skills (Word Excel PowerPoint) and overall curiosity for IT systems
- Working Knowledge of ERP systems;
- Autonomous team spirit well organized and dedicated- team memberworker;
- Ability to work independently and perform multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to conduct research using various sources including IIA IFRS etc.;
- Analytical/critical thinking and ability to communicate effectively with different levels of stakeholders;
- Solution-driven and service-oriented approach;
- Willingness to travel internationally (up-to 20-25% EMEA)
