Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join the PAULS team!! The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving manufacturing processes enhancing product quality and ensuring efficient production operations. This role requires a strong background in industrial engineering and a passion for continuous improvement. The Manufacturing Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that drive productivity and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Design implement and optimize fabrication processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues in production and develop effective solutions.
Collaborate with project teams on scheduling and resource allocation to meet production goals.
Utilize programming skills to develop and maintain controllers for automated systems.
Fabricate prototypes and conduct testing to validate new manufacturing techniques.
Apply principles of engineering where applicable to enhance product performance.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing current processes and recommending enhancements.
Use software for 3D modeling and design of manufacturing systems and components.
Provide technical support and training to production staff on new processes and equipment.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in Machining Engineering or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of project scheduling techniques and methodologies.
Proficiency in welding processes and techniques is preferred.
Familiarity with logic controllers and programming languages relevant to manufacturing automation.
Experience with Mastercam CAD etc for design purposes.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
