Position Title: Pediatric Anesthesiologist
Location: Pensacola Florida area

Overview:
A private practice in the Pensacola Florida is seeking a dedicated and skilled Pediatric Anesthesiologist with expertise in both pediatric and general anesthesia. This role involves delivering high-quality anesthesia care to patients of all ages including infants children adolescents and adults for surgical diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
They are negotiable on the amount of pediatrics. They also offer vascular OB neuro regional trauma general surgery and rare thoracic cases. There are no hearts.
The call schedule consists of once every five nights with post call day off.
Benefits:
Offering $550000 as a 1099 with 10 weeks vacation.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer anesthesia and sedation for pediatric and adult patients during surgical and non-surgical procedures prioritizing pain management and safety.
Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations reviewing medical histories assessing risks and collaborating with pediatricians surgeons and other specialists.
Monitor patients intraoperatively adjusting anesthesia protocols to meet the physiological needs of children and adults.
Provide post-anesthetic care managing recovery and addressing complications such as pain nausea or respiratory issues across diverse patient groups.
Develop tailored anesthesia plans considering age weight developmental stage and medical conditions with a focus on pediatric and complex adult cases.
Educate patients and families on anesthesia procedures risks and post-operative care building trust and ensuring clarity.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives adhering to hospital protocols and anesthesia standards for pediatric and general care.
Stay current with advancements in pediatric and general anesthesiology through continuing education and research.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology; fellowship or advanced training in Pediatric Anesthesiology preferred.
Valid Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
