Job Summary
The Student Financial Aid Officer II position in the Scholarships Office provides customer service and supports the processing of departmental scholarships for students. This position will be responsible for processing athletic scholarships and representing the Scholarships Office in outreach programming. The position will also have a significant role in processing both undergraduate and graduate scholarships in SharePoint and answering scholarship related questions from students in-person by phone and email. This position is crucial in ensuring that students receive scholarship support in a timely and effective manner.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Processing athletic scholarships Processing undergraduate and graduate scholarships in SharePoint Responding to scholarship inquiries by phone and email Participates in scholarship outreach activities both on & off campus to increase scholarship awareness Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree. At least two (2) years of experience in financial aid higher education or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience in similar role.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with specific Financial Aid Management system or other similar student information systems. Experience working in higher education with scholarship management and processing.
Work Schedule
Monday Friday; 8:00am 5:00pm Require the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
