Third Shift (United States of America)Nursing Resource Coordinator / Float Pool
Position Highlights:
Assume delegated authority/accountability from organizational leadership in their absence to direct/manage all operational activities including placement of staffing resources need to meet patient care requirements. Coordinate activities related to patient placement including admission and transfer. Serve as a clinical and administrative resource to nursing ancillary and physician staff; and assure support of patients families and visitors in crisis.
Shift: Full Time Nights (7:00pm-7:00am)

Required Qualifications:
Minimum of three years nursing experience to include a minimum of one year experience in critical care or adult progressive care and some experience as a relief charge nurse required.
Bachelors degree in nursing required.
FEMA disaster certification within 6 months of hire required.
Ability to make rapid and accurate assessments of patients and situations and determine appropriate responses required.
Ability to prioritize and problem solve multiple concurrent tasks required.
Effective verbal and written communication skills required.
Ability to function as a clinical resource in a diverse setting required.
Demonstrate clinical competencies in complex nursing skills required.
Ability to function in stressful situations in a manner that promotes calmness efficiency
and confidence required.
Strong critical thinking skills required.
Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Nebraska or current compact state license required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon completion of unit orientation required.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) department dependent required.
Commissioned as Notary Public within 6 months of hire required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Management experience preferred.
