Mechanical & Electrical Engineer / Technician Data Centres Amsterdam Netherlands
Contract Duration: Initial 12 Month Contract working via Leap29 after the 12 months you will go into a potential permanent position.
Language Requirement: Dutch Speaking
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Resident Engineer to join a collaborative design-focused team based in Amsterdam. Youll be involved in the supervision and coordination of electrical works for advanced data centre projects ensuring high standards in design compliance and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with clients engineers and contractors on technical details materials compliance and site progress.
- Lead and support inspection teams for testing commissioning mockups and factory visits.
- Identify and resolve design or installation issues promptly.
- Monitor contractors performance and workmanship.
- Track project progress and participate in site meetings.
- Respond to technical queries from contractors in coordination with the engineering team.
- Provide regular updates to the head office and support the project team with reporting.
- Support with other project-related duties as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience including at least 2 years on-site in electrical/building services.
- Strong understanding of Dutch regulations including NEN 1010 and NEN 3140.
