The Glennie School is an Anglican school for girls in Toowoomba providing an exceptional education for Kindergarten to Year 12 students with boarding from Year 5. About the role:
The School is currently seeking a Weekend Boarding House Supervisor for a full-time term-time position to start in October. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic capable and responsible person who invests in making a positive difference in the boarding lives of Glennie girls in the nurturing environment of The Glennie Schools boarding houses. The role is a Weekend Sleepover Staff Member.
About You:
You have experience in working with young adolescents in a boarding environment - would be an advantage but not essential.
Strong administrative skill set to work the Boarders Reception shift over weekends.
An ideal role model for our boarding students: confident empathetic collaborative resilient resourceful ethical reliable punctual proactive
An ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong time management skills and strong attention to detail
An understanding of the needs of students from regional backgrounds.
Ability to build relationships with a range of students from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
Able to engage and work with a range of stakeholders particularly young people and their parents.
