Job Summary
Responsible for clerical functions and administrative support of food service programsAnswer telephones and direct inquiries in a professional and client centric confidential personnel with staffing including finding staff when employees call out on short effectively and maintain good working relationships with co-workers school personnel administrators students parents and and maintain accurate and up to date records of students eligible for free and reduced lunch Enter weekly cash sales and meal counts using daily bank deposit vendor invoices for payment - using computer making sure addition is correct and checking item prices against bid specifications making sure there is no discrepancy in monthly vendor statement monthly state claim form for in preparation of end of month financial in-service and/or safety meetings as clean and safe work environment; ability to perform job other duties as assigned and/or related to cafeteria is 18 hours per weekSalary as per the contract between the AFSCME union and the Newburyport School CommitteeEqual Opportunity EmployerNewburyport Public Schools does not discriminate in its programs activities or employment practices based on race color national origin age religion gender gender identity sexual orientation or disability.
