The Process Automation Scrum Master is responsible for leading and facilitating process automation projects using the Scrum framework. This role acts as a facilitative leader to the Scrum team ensuring that the team is following the Scrum framework and that any impediments to the teams progress are resolved. The Process Automation Scrum Master ensures that the Scrum team is able to meet their objectives and deliver value to the organization.
Primary Responsibilities Facilitate Scrum events such as the Daily Scrum Sprint Planning Sprint Review and Sprint the Scrum team is following the Scrum framework and Agile with the Product Owner to ensure that the product backlog is properly prioritized and that the team is focused on delivering the highest value the team to continuously improve by identifying and removing impediments to the team in Agile practices and ensure that the team is continually learning and communication and collaboration within the team and with external the team to create and maintain project artifacts such as the Sprint backlog burndown charts and other Scrum that the team is delivering value to the organization and that the project is aligned with the organizations goals. Required Education Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience Required Experience 8 years relevant experience
Preferred Competencies/Skills Scrum Expertise: should have a deep understanding of the Scrum framework and should be able to effectively lead and facilitate Scrum : should have strong leadership skills including the ability to inspire and motivate team members as well as the ability to lead by : should be an expert facilitator with the ability to guide and facilitate team discussions and decision-making : should have an excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical : should be skilled at fostering collaboration and teamwork among team members as well as with stakeholders outside of the -Solving: should have strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve impediments to Management: should be skilled at managing their time effectively with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing priorities. Preferred Education Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Preferred Experience 8 years of experience working as a Scrum Master preferably in a process automation been involved in multiple automation initiatives that delivered tangible benefitsAt least 2 years experience in the financial services industry preferably in insuranceWorking experience in a consulting or shared services environment preferredGraduate degree in IT Software Engineering or businessScrum Certification or equivalent
Preferred Knowledge Agile Methodologies: should have a deep understanding of Agile methodologies particularly Scrum as this is the framework that they will be using to manage process automation Automation Tools: should be knowledgeable about process automation tools such as robotic process automation (RPA) software business process management (BPM) software and other automation tools that may be used to streamline Management: should have a good understanding of project management principles and practices as they will be responsible for managing process automation projects using the Scrum Analysis: should have a good understanding of process analysis techniques as they will need to be able to analyze existing processes and identify areas for Management: should have a good understanding of change management principles and practices as they will be responsible for managing change within the organization as processes are Acumen: should have a good understanding of the business goals and objectives of the organization as they will be responsible for ensuring that the process automation projects are aligned with these goals preferably with knowledge in the Insurance Improvement: should be committed to continuous improvement both for themselves and for the team. They should be familiar with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma and should be able to apply these principles to the process automation projects they are managing.
