We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to support our MENA Quality operations.
This position is a permanent contract based in Amman.
In this role you will actively contribute to inspection readiness product release preparation and quality system maintenance while serving as a key QA contact for the region.
Your key responsibilities
- Prepare and review batch release documentation for products destined to MENA markets ensuring compliance with GDP requirements.
- Support the Responsible Person / Responsible Technique in Switzerland by providing complete and compliant sub-release files.
- Manage and follow-up complaints deviations CAPAs and change controls related to MENA-distributed products.
- Support coordination of product returns and recalls with the QA and Supply Chain teams.
- Monitor shipments manage temperature excursions and ensure proper documentation and investigations.
- Contribute to audits and supplier qualifications for MENA distributors and service providers.
- Collect and consolidate MENA market data to support the preparation of Product Quality Reviews (PQRs).
- Monitor local regulatory updates (Regulatory Intelligence) and communicate potential impacts to global QA/RA.
- Provide training and guidance to local partners (distributors service providers) on GDP and QA procedures.
We are looking for
- University degree in Pharmacy Life Sciences or Chemistry (QA focus).
- 25 years experience in Quality Assurance within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Solid knowledge of GMP and GDP
- Excellent communication in English (spoken and written). Knowledge of French is a plus.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Experience working with IT tools (knowledge of SAGE and DQM/eQMS systems highly valued).
- Team player with cross-functional collaboration skills.
