System Support Controls Engineer
We are looking for a skilled Controls Engineer to join our on-site support team focusing on SCADA monitoring incident response and troubleshooting of automation systems for Material Handling Equipment (MHE). Youll support PLCs (Siemens Beckhoff) VFDs communication networks (ProfiNet) and related infrastructure to ensure high system uptime.
What Youll Do:
Act as SCADA expert within the Control Room
Troubleshoot PLCs drives ProfiNet networks and controls hardware
Monitor system performance and diagnose issues in real-time
Support remote fault-finding with Maintenance & Engineering teams
Escalate complex incidents and ensure documentation
Help optimize system reliability and performance
Ensure compliance with HSE and technical procedures
What You Bring:
34 years in industrial automation or controls support
Strong knowledge of SCADA PLCs (Siemens Beckhoff) and VFDs
Experience with Siemens TIA Portal and industrial networks
Degree in Electrical Engineering Automation or equivalent experience
Strong problem-solving communication and cross-functional coordination skills
Willingness to work shifts and support additional sites if needed
