The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician inspects installs maintains and repairs machinery equipment facilities plumbing electrical and other systems through advanced level maintenance. - Performs all duties according to established safety quality and efficiency procedures; and maintains workstation in a neat clean and orderly fashion.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical electronic hydraulic mechanical and pneumatic systems.
- Determine proper layout assembly and installation of related systems.
- Recognize root causes for machine performance makes recommendations and prepares necessary corrective action.
- Make recommendations and follows through on the installation programming or repairing of automated machinery and equipment.
- Understand Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and control circuits.
- Make recommendations or assist in scheduling and performing preventive maintenance.
- Must be able to make quick educated decisions and work well under pressure.
- Responsible for general safe practices and cleanliness of work area and machinery.
- Responsible for quality work performed.
- Responsible for any other duties as assigned by supervision either from communication through the department Leader or directly.
- Follow all safety policies protocols procedures.
- Perform required communication using CMMS software. Prepare track and complete work orders created.
Other reasonable duties as assigned. - Minimum of 7 years of experience working in an industrial maintenance or related environment with a working knowledge of electrical hydraulics pneumatics and mechanical systems.
- Certifications in PLC Hydraulics Electrical and pneumatic are a plus. Strong Electrical knowledge is highly desired.
- Experience with CMMS software is highly desirable.
- Welding certification and prior experience operating a forklift is highly desirable.
- Attention to Detail
- Must have (sit-down) forklift driving experience.
- Basic English reading/writing skills preferred.
- Work experience within a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Willing to work overtime longer days and some weekends as needed.
- Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
- Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
- Must be able to hear and see.
- Willingness to help in other areas
| Physical Requirements: - Lifting to 50 lbs. (heavy loads must be team lifted)
