Responsibilities:
- Support the Site Manager in conducting inspections preventive maintenance and routine servicing of M&E systems.
- Lead frontline operations including attending to fault reports service complaints and emergency response situations.
- Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
- Supervise and be physically present during switching operations of electrical installations as mandated by relevant statutory authorities.
- Issue and manage safety documentation such asPermit-to-Work (PTW) and Clear area certificatesin accordance with site protocols.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in strict adherence to workplace safety and health (WSH) regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities incidents and equipment performance.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Requirements:
- Minimum Higher Nitecin Electrical Mechanical Control or Systems Engineering or equivalent professional qualification.
- Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) Grade 7 or validEMA Electrician Licenseismandatory.
- Minimum5 years of relevant experiencein electrical control systems power engineering or facilities management projects.
- Strong understanding of local codes regulations and safety standards related to electrical installations.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to perform standby duties and respond to emergencies outside of regular working hours.
