Job Description
- Plan organize and implement the teaching of fundamentals strategies rules and proper conditioning in the assigned collect inventory and return equipment uniforms and other materials (e.g. team roster first aid kit coachs handbook) per athletic department guidelines
- Ensure adequate supervision of all students involved in the program and ensure the safety of participants by inspecting facilities and equipment and being aware of environmental conditions.
- Supervise student athletes use of the locker room; during travel to and from and during games/matches.
- Instruct participants in safety procedures and the need to report injuries to the coach and/or trainer immediately; implement appropriate procedures for handling injury situations; ensure the availability of a properly supplied first aid kit.
- Submit coachs game report to Athletic Director within 24 hours of each game
- Complete and submit the following to the Athletic Director and the appropriate principal:Accident ReportsDisciplinary ActionParent Complaints
- Attend various sporting events and related activities including Wellness Programs as assigned.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Athletic Director including:Eligibility list with grades and attendance at the start of each seasonCollection of each form given at the beginning of each season from the playersAdherence to the policies and procedures of the Coachs HandbookSigning and returning the coachs evaluation at the completion of each season
