Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Security Architecture: Designing implementing and managing security solutions in multi-cloud environments including AWS Azure and Google Cloud ensuring security best practices.
- Cyber Defense Solutions: Deploying and configuring advanced security tools including:
- Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR).
- Advanced Threat Protection (ATP).
- Web Application Firewall (WAF).
- Intrusion Prevention/Detection Systems (IPS/IDS).
- Deception technologies.
- Threat Intelligence and Threat Intelligence Platforms (TI/TIP).
- Anti-DDoS measures.
- Security Operations: Working closely with Security Operations Centers (SOC) and Cybersecurity teams to integrate security tools streamline incident detection and response and enhance threat monitoring across cloud environments.
- Risk Management: Assessing and mitigating security risks associated with cloud infrastructure recommending solutions and preventive measures.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining documentation of security configurations incident response activities and compliance requirements.
- Training & Support: Providing guidance and training to technical teams on secure cloud practices and cybersecurity defence tools.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cloud security with a proven track record of implementing and securing cloud infrastructures (AWS Azure Google Cloud).
- Technical Expertise: Proficient with security tools such as EDR ATP WAF IPS/IDS Deception TI/TIP and Anti-DDoS.
- Certifications (Preferred): Certifications like AWS Certified Security Specialty Azure Security Engineer or equivalent are a plus.
- Language Skills: Strong command of English both written and verbal with the ability to communicate complex security concepts.
