Our client is a global leader in the production of plastics injection molding for packaging.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in developing and monitoring budgets.
- Helping prepare financial forecasts and performing variance analysis.
- Working with department heads to understand and manage budgetary requirements.
- Assisting in preparing monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Conducting financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Preparing financial reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Assisting in the preparation for internal and external audits.
- Implementing and monitoring internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Assisting in developing and implementing financial strategies.
- Conducting market and competitor analysis to inform financial planning.
- Supporting strategic initiatives and projects from a financial perspective.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or higher in Accounting or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership position.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in Accounting (AP/AR) and the financial field.
- Good knowledge of accounting standards internal controls and process improvement activities is preferable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly MS Excel.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
- Computer literate with experience using basic business software packages (SAP Word Excel etc.).
