We are currently seeking a dynamic Cybersecurity Support Engineer to contribute to the success of our rapidly growing business.
As a Cybersecurity Support Engineer you will:
- ProvidedirecttechnicalwebandtelephonesupporttoFortinetcustomers.
- TroubleshootonthefullrangeofFortinetproducts.
- Collectanalyseandchangerecommendationsofconfigurationinformation.
- Collectandanalysecustomernetworkinformation.
- Collectand conductinitialanalysisofpackettraceinformation.
- Recommendcorrectiveactionsbasedonanalysis.
- Provide customer education where needed due to gaps in networking product knowledge etc.
- Provide consultationoftechnicaldocumentationbulletinsandreleasenotesforknownproblems.
- Reproducecustomerenvironmentsonlabequipment.
- Followupontechnicalcases includingproperescalationandmanagementofthe case until case closure.
- Managecustomercommunicationsandexpectationsuntiltheclosureofeachcase.
We Are Looking For:
An insightful and influential collaborator to join our team. We encourage you to apply for this position if you have the following qualities:
- Atleast 5yearsof experience in atechnical supportrole ina networking/security company or equivalent education.
- Strong understandingofLan Edge Solutions (Wireless) and TCP/IProuting protocols L2/L3 switches.
- ExperiencewithsecurityproductsfirewallsIPSecIDS/IPSAnti-Spamvirusscanning.
- Strongtroubleshootingandproblem-solvingskills.
- ExtensiveworkingknowledgeofWindowsUNIXorLinux.
- Previouscallcenterexperiencepreferablysupportingdatanetworkingproductsand/or security products is desirable.
- StrongEnglishskillsbothwrittenandverbal.
- BachelorsdegreeinComputerScienceSoftwareEngineeringorrelatedfieldoran equivalent combination of training and experience is desirable.
