About the position
- Were looking for aRuby Developerto help usautomate and scale our entire chargeback process across both ouracquiringandissuingoperations.
- In this role you will work on building and refactoring robust dispute flows integrating with major card networks likeVisaandMastercard and leveragingAI APIsto bring intelligence and automation to the core of our operation.
- Youll be responsible for connecting internal and external APIs designing scalable architecture and making our dispute handling smarter faster and more autonomous.
What Youll Be Doing
- Refactor and scale existing chargeback and dispute handling flows written in Ruby
- Integrate with external APIs fromVisaMastercard and other partners
- Work withAI APIs (generative and/or machine learning)to automate analysis decision-making and documentation
- Build resilient services to support end-to-end chargeback processes for both issuing and acquiring
- Collaborate with product data and operations teams to deeply understand business rules and pain points
- Write clean maintainable code and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
What You Need To Succeed
- Strong Ruby/Rails experience(at least 3 years)
- Experience withRESTful APIs background jobs and service integrations
- Passion forrefactoring legacy codeand designing scalable solutions
- Understanding ofpayment networks (Visa/Mastercard)and/orchargeback operationsis a big plus
- Familiarity withAI tools or APIs(e.g. OpenAI Langchain ML models) is a nice-to-have
- Ownership mindset and a willingness to build from scratch
