Job Description

  • Bring your exceptional service experience to provide career support and guidance to our students
  • Engage and build professional relationships doing diverse and engaging work in a tertiary setting
  • Collaborate with a passionate team to design and deliver employability and skills development programs and initiatives

The role

  • Continuing Full time (job share arrangements considered)
  • Level 6 - $92025 to $99538 pa FTE (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Albury-Wodonga Bathurst Dubbo Orange or Wagga Wagga (other campus locations may be considered)

As the Careers and Skills Adviser you will be working with students staff and employers to deliver student career development employability and graduate employmentservices and programs.

You will be providing career guidance and supporting students to develop skills in job seeking such as resume writing interview skills and professional workplace behaviours. You will also be responsible for supporting programs that focus on employability and skills development and maintaining strong relationships with employers and stakeholders.

About you

  • Demonstrated ability to support students through the delivery of programs and projects.
  • High level communication skills and the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent information technology skills and the capacity to learn and utilise new online technologies.
  • Experience and/or understanding of educational design concepts.
  • Hold a Career Industry Council of Australia (CICA) endorsed Career Development qualification or willing to obtain.
