JobSummary
Under the direction of the Table Games Shift Manager the Table Games Floor Supervisor isresponsible for supervising the activity of all table games ensuring the gaming activity and dealingprocedures comply with the Table Games Department policies and procedures. The Table GamesFloor Supervisor monitors and supports team members assigned to their areas and additionally mayconduct a variety of casino games providing prompt and courteous service to all gaming patrons.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Compliance with Catawba Nation Gaming Commission regulations casino policies internalcontrols standard operating procedures and conducts all games in accordance withaforementioned regulations policies and controls.
Assists with training and supervision of all Table Games personnel.
Responsible for player ratings in assigned area.
Ensures dealer accuracy and corrects mistakes when needed.
Knowledge of gaming and alcohol beverage control regulations and company internal policiesand procedures.
Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
Maintains a clean safe hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
Assists in company functions.
Performs any other duties as assigned by management.
Essential Job Knowledge Skills Abilities and Competencies:
High School diploma or GED required.
Must pass Table Games proficiency examination.
Experience of a minimum of 3 years Table Games experience
Preference given to candidates with a minimum of one (1) year of supervisory or dual rateexperience.
Table Games start up and/or dealer school training experience is preferred.
Public relations and customer service skills.
Oral and written communication skills.
Maintaining interpersonal working relationships among all personnel.
Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial data casino/slot policies andpromotions.
Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age
Certifications and Licenses:
Must have certification and/or experience in two of the core games (Craps Blackjack Roulette andbaccarat) and the Carnival Games.
Must be able to obtain a Catawba Nation Gaming License.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to operate computer equipment for extended periods of time.
Must be able to walk and stand on feet for long periods of time.
Ability to sit stand walk bend reach kneel.
Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Visual acuity and hearing
