Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project and Development Managers with pre-construction planning budgeting and programming
- Prepare tenders review design consultant and contractor pricing and run tender interviews
- Manage procurement processes including RFIs RFQs contracts POs and invoicing through to project close-out
- Negotiate contract terms prepare documentation and ensure compliance with budgets and scope
- Liaise with subcontractors to maintain current insurances and compliance records
- Review approve and administer contractor invoices and variations
- Contribute to dispute resolution with suppliers and subcontractors
- Provide effective and timely administrative support to ensure projects are delivered on time within scope and to budget
What Were Looking For
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role within the building and construction industry
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering Quantity Surveying or Project Management (desirable)
- Prior experience as an estimator is highly regarded
- Strong understanding of WHS and NCC provisions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project Job Pac (or equivalent) Procore (or equivalent) and Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent time management organisational and communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Flexibility to travel interstate as required
