About the Role
LabX Diagnostic Systems is scaling fast30% annual growthand were seeking an upbeat roll-up-your-sleeves CFO/CPA with medical industry experience. Youll lead finance while helping restructure professionalize and scale a high-growth diagnostic laboratory. This is an on-site Tampa role for a builder who loves change embraces ambiguity and drives results.
What Youll Do
- Accounting FP&A cash treasury audit and tax; deliver timely accurate financials.
- Rebuild the COA monthly close controls and reporting cadence; stand up KPI dashboards (DSO denial rate gross margin/test cash conversion).
- Uplevel revenue cycle performance (payer mix prior auths denials/appeals aging collections).
- Model pricing contracts and new service lines; support margin expansion and growth initiatives.
- Manage banking relationships; oversee financing and covenant compliance.
- Partner across Ops Billing and Customer Service to tighten workflows and SOPs.
- Drive vendor negotiations and cost reduction (supplies shipping logistics).
- Evaluate/implement systems (ERP/GL BI billing tools) for better data visibility.
- Support strategic projects and M&A diligence/integration as needed.
What You Bring
- CPA required.Bachelors in Accounting/Finance (MBA a plus).
- Healthcare/diagnostics experience required(provider lab or RCM environment).
- Experience level is flexibleimpact rigor and ownership matter more than years.
- Comfort in high-growth (30%) changing environments; builder mindset and bias to action.
- Strong modeling and spreadsheet chops; BI familiarity (Power BI/Tableau) a plus.
- Systems-minded (NetSuite or similar) with a track record of improving processes.
- Upbeat collaborative leader whos as comfortable on the floor as in the boardroom.
- Must be on-site in Tampa(no remote).
