Job Description

College of Engineering (CoE) is looking for a candidate to join them as a Research Fellow.

The NTU Centre in Computational Technologies for Finance is a newly created pan-university centre in NTU to coordinate and support NTUs initiatives activities and programs in Blockchain. The centre is co-managed by CoE and NBS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct fundamental and applied blockchain research with the focus on blockchain with sharding to reduce complexity and resource consumption

  • Develop generative and advanced AI algorithms to optimize blockchain and data management platform for industrial Internet of Things (IIoT)

  • Publish findings in top-tier journals such as IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing and top-tier conferences such as IEEE INFOCOM

  • Support major research grant proposals for Blockchain initiatives

Job Requirements:

  • PhD in Computer Science/Engineering Mathematics Information Systems or related fields

  • Strong publication record in top journals and conferences

  • Demonstrate high proficiency of communications skill
