SAP Security and Compliance Senior Consultant (EY GDS Consulting GRC Technology)

As part of our EY-GDS GRC Technology competency you will drive complex GRC Technology SAP Security engagements and help solve broader risks through solution implementation. You will be the subject matter resource to recommend design develop document test and debug new and existing implementations and/or applications for internal use for difficult business addition participate in solution designing and consult with business clients/onsite team to understand and meet business needs and achieving business and technology initiatives.

Your key responsibilities

Consistently deliver quality client services and manage expectations of client service delivery.
Drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget.
Develop and maintain long-term relationships and networks with clients and internal EY stakeholders
Build and nurture positive working relationships with clients with the intention to achieve exceptional client service.
Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client/onsite personnel
Assist leadership to drive business development initiatives and account management.
Support managers in performance reviews for team members and recruitment activities as required.
Should cross skill and cross train the team members as per the business requirements.
Maintain an educational program to continually develop personal skills of self and team members
Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures
Collaborate with SAP architects and administrators to design implement and maintain security controls for SAP applications including role-based access controls (RBAC) authorization profiles and user provisioning.
Conduct in-depth security assessments and audits of SAP systems to identify vulnerabilities risks and areas for improvement.
Develop and enforce SAP security policies standards and guidelines. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging threats to adapt security measures accordingly.
Stay up to date with SAP security best practices and emerging threats. Provide expert guidance to clients on security policy development and compliance with industry regulations.
Manage user access requests approvals and de-provisioning processes. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and internal policies.
Provide SAP security training and awareness programs for SAP users and IT staff to enhance security awareness and compliance.
Lead incident response efforts related to SAP security breaches or vulnerabilities including investigation mitigation and documentation.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP security configurations policies and procedures.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior consultants on SAP Application Security methodologies and best practices.

To qualify for the role you must have

Bachelors degree in Information Security Computer Science or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g. SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP System Security and Authorizations or SAP Certified Technology Professional - System Security Architect) preferred.
Proven Experience (5-7 years) as an SAP Application Security Consultant with a strong background in SAP NetWeaver SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC.
In-depth knowledge of SAP security concepts including role design authorization objects and SoD controls.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g. GDPR ISO 27001) and their implications for SAP security.
Proficiency in SAP GRC (Governance Risk and Compliance) tools is a plus.
Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in diverse client environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
