Galileo Global Education HUB (Hungarian Bureau) is a daughter company of the GGE Group and offers a diverse package of dedicated IT services to support our internal clients: Schools Business units and Support functions in both their Digital Transformation and daily IT operations by spearheading supporting and managing their efforts through IT project managers technical professionals and full stack experts.
Mission:
Security incidents carry financial cost and can impact our brand and reputation. Preventing detecting and responding to incidents proactively allows us to reduce risk to our schools. Be a member of our centralized team that designs and ensures common governance risk and compliance processes across thegroup hardening the business posture from attack. Our role places real value in finding and adapting ways to protect and support our schools and entities. We support them by the following activities:
- Laying down and documenting procedures policies and standards creating supporting materials
- Maintaining and increasing cyber risk awareness across the organization
- Reviewing achievements auditing and assessing maturity levels at different aspects of cyber security
Tasks:
- Manages day-to-day interactions across the organization and follows up on cyber security related activities including activities delegated to external parties
- Aggregates analyzes and presents information collected from all entities in the Galileo network responsible for reporting and quality assurance of information distribution
- Coordinate with Group DPO and IT security officers on the Group GDPR and IT Cybersecurity measures
- Consult with business or security partners on information security requirements and applicability to their business processes products or services
- Adhere to and contribute to standards documentation and internal processes defined
Experience:
- Knowledgeable of ITSM and cyber security concepts cyber security project experience ISO27001 experience is a plus
- Experience with enterprise level operations and working in a heterogeneous architecture
- Hands-on experience in project coordination/management principles and practices
- A basic understanding of the cyber security landscape including emerging risks and security solutions knowledge of security methodologies and processes
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office / O365 suite
- Technical expertise in networking security logging SSO is a plus
- Practical knowledge of threat and vulnerability management is a plus
- CISSP CISA CISM AWS or similar certification is a plus
Other requirements:
- You are well organized rigorous and methodical
- You are eager and capable to learn new technologies ways of working and find solutions to complex requirements
- You are a superior document writer in English documentation is your bread and butter
- Autonomous personality with a high sense of ownership and responsibility
- Team oriented personality good time management multitasking proactivity in providing process improvements
- Strong communication and facilitation skills to effectively drive recommendations priorities and projects across different users (schools central organization & management)
- Good command of written and spoken English & Hungarian are must - French is a plus
