We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Project Management Office (PMO) .

Role Purpose:
Digital Business Automation are a global Platform within the Chief Technology Office with approximately 300 staff in multiple geographic entities. We are responsible for defining and implementing the technology strategy for multiple critical services across the organisation as well as ensuring their availability recoverability and security.

As a PMO analyst you will be responsible for supporting the Portfolio Lead and Project Managers in the day-to-day management of the Platforms Book of Work. The role will assist in maintaining project governance ensuring accurate reporting and supporting the deliverables of the Portfolios Book of Work.

In this role you will:

Facilitate and coordinate portfolio-level governance ensuring alignment with the HSBC Change Framework (HCF).
Maintain compliance across documentation reporting and approvals in line with organizational standards.
Monitor delivery progress including resources velocity cost tracking and financial governance.
Produce accurate portfolio and project reporting using Clarity and JIRA
Support cost modelling and forecasting using GDPM (Global Delivery Project Management) tool.
Partner with Project Managers Business Analysts and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and timely escalation of risks/issues.
Drive consistency in reporting dashboards and communication across the portfolio




To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

Proven background in PMO Junior Project Manager or Business Analyst roles with direct exposure to governance and financial tracking
Hands-on experience in compliance and governance requirements using change framework
Strong understanding of project methodologies (Prince Agile PMP)
Excellent presentation skills both verbal and written
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
Experience of using Clarity PPM and Jira in managing reporting dashboards and tracking delivery.
Desirable
Experience with Managed File Transfer (MFT) and/or Workload Automation tooling.
Previous exposure to Digital Business Automation platforms.

This role is based in Sheffield or Birmingham Hybrid .
