Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop team leaders andoperators toachieve requiredskills andcapabilities. Coaching counseling and disci- plining employees. Communicating jobexpectations: planning monitoring and appraising job results. Supports hiringand trainingofmanufacturingoperatorsresolveemployeeissuespreparesimprovementanddevelopmentplanfortheteamleadand
operators - Take theleadin solvingoperational issues and resolve permanently. Drive improvement projects (through Kai- zen) tofurther improve operations capabilities. Formulate alternative cost saving strategies and manage andspareparts
- Supervisesthemanufacturingoperationsandensuresproceduresarecarriedoutinaccordancewithguidelines. Carry outcontrol checks andprovides statusreports and alerts team when quality isjeopardized due toprocess variations equipment breakdown and process withteam leadersto formulateworkschedulesfordailyactivitiesbasedon customer and verifies that alldocumentationsare included
- Periodicallyanalyze operator workload and performance toimprove tacttime andwork procedureefficiency to achieve better production cycle time
- Ensuressafetyandhealthregulations areunderstoodandcompliedwithinthemanufacturing operationsat alltimes
Education & Experience
- A bachelors degree in Engineering or its equivalents with at least 5 years of relevant work experience in Production Supervision
Skills
- -onexperience inamanufacturingenvironmentandhas strongmanagementskills
- Experience facilitating improvement projects andKaizen. Withknowledge on methods forwasteelimination efficiency improvement yield improvement andcycle timeimprovement
- Requireskillsetstobreakdowncomplex operationswithaprocess-orientedmindsetforanalysisandcreations of strategic plan
- Experienceassessing manufacturingprocessesthrough theuseofPFMEA process capabilityanalysisroot causeanalysisand designof experiments
- Basic manufacturing statistics knowledge - correlationprocessoptimizationhypothesis testing coefficient ofvarianceanalysissixsigmaandsomestatisticalprocesscontrolmethodologies
- Problemsolvingandtroubleshootingskillstoensurethat allteam memberscanidentify rootcauses and take 8D RCAWhy-WhyanalysisHypothesistestingand varietyofconcretevariablesinsituationswhereonlylimitedstandardizationexists
- Understand linebalancescheduling interpreta variety of instructionsfurnished in written oral diagram or schedule form
